SwiftCover is built with privacy in mind. We do not sell your data. Your resume and personal information stay on your device — they're used only to generate your documents, never stored on our servers.

1. Who we are

SwiftCover ("we", "us", or "our") is an AI-powered cover letter and resume tailoring app, made by Codevin Studio. You can reach us at feedback@codevin-studio.net.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

Account information — your name and email address when you sign in with Google or Apple.
Usage data — number of cover letters and resumes generated, subscription status, and crash reports to improve the app.
Resume & contact info — stored locally on your device only. It is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate your cover letter or tailored resume, and is not stored on our servers.

To process subscription payments via RevenueCat
To fix bugs and improve app performance

4. Third-party services

SwiftCover uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Anthropic (Claude AI) — processes job descriptions and resume summaries to generate letters and tailored resumes. Data is not retained beyond the request.
Google Firebase — authentication and basic analytics.
RevenueCat — subscription and payment management.
Apple — Sign in with Apple, where you choose to use it.

5. Data storage

Your resume text, contact details, and saved cover letters and resumes are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. We do not upload or store this content on our servers.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as you have an active account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app, or by contacting us at feedback@codevin-studio.net.

7. Children's privacy

SwiftCover is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your rights

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at feedback@codevin-studio.net.

9. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Punjab, India.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
